For my final project in AMES 157, I decided to model the magetic pendulum toy that Professor Bailey demonstrated in class. This toy not only provided an excellent opportunity to use 3d graphics in an engineering environment, it also demonstrates chaotic behavior of a modelled object which predictable adherence to physical laws.
